One of the biggest announcements to happen in the past few days was Nokia‘s partnership with Microsoft. Thanks to this partnership, Nokia will now be utilizing Windows Phone 7 as their exclusive platform thus phasing out both Symbian and MeeGo in the process. This announcement came at the annoyance of many with legions of Nokia employees walking out in protest.
Well, regardless if you’re for or against the partnership Nokia and Microsoft will be going ahead with it. Luckily, thanks to a recently leaked render of a Windows Phone 7 powered Nokia smartphone (pictured above), things may not be all that bad. Engadget got their hands on the leak and say that these are an early vision from Nokia designers of what a Windows Phone 7 powered smartphone should look like.
From the looks of it things seem to be coming along quite nicely as this device is very aesthetically pleasing especially with the varying colors. However, until it (or somethign like it) hits the market we won’t be able to tell how this Nokia/Microsoft partnership will work out.
