Although Microsoft has not confirmed any news on Windows 8 leaks, more and more Windows 8 designs and screenshots are surfacing from different sources. Few days back new Windows 8 welcome screen and Ribbon screenshots were leaked. Rivera has provided new metro UI style welcome screen and use of Ribbon UI screenshots. It indicates that it will port metro UI from Windows Phone 7 to Windows 8.
Ribbons will replace the menu and toolbar options in the Explorer windows. It will also allow easy and more visibly discoverable content. Currently, the Ribbon looks very unattractive but it is an early days of the program so we can expect the better cluttered free UI.
