MSI Wind U160MX dual core netbook unboxed

MSI one of the leading manufacturer of Netbook has announced another MSI series Netbook model named Wind U160MX Netbook. For the most part, the computer loks just like earlier models. But there are a few subtle differences. It now has a new brushed metal lid instead of gloss and minor design tweaks – the trackpart button has been pushed in and no longer covers the front edge, and the part above the keyboard is slightly different. Nothing you’d notice better unless you looked pretty carefully.

The new netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N455 single-core or Atom N550 dual-core processor, up to 2GB DDR3 memory, Intel NM10 chipset, Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics, and a 160GB or higher 2.5-inch SATA hard drive with Windows Starter Edition 7 OS pre-loaded. The MSI Wind U160MX netbook is packs 10-inch glossy LED backlit display with 1024×600 pixel (WSVGA) resolution, Bluetooth 2.1, Intel HD audio with microphone and stereo speakers, Ethernet LAN, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and optional 3G/4G. New MSI Wind U160MX netbook is equipped with three USB 2.0 and VGA ports, and a 2-in-1 Memory Card Reader (SD/MMC).
