Xbox 360 Slim Hacked: Now run Writable CDs [Video]

Microsoft is very much aware of piracy, but they could not do anything. Though, gamers are not only look to burn their own game DVDs with an intention to pirate, but also to protect the original disc from damage. Of course this is illegal, but that hasn’t stopped many users from creating backups for their game CDs. The all new Xbox 360 Slim, which was released in June 2010 at E3 had a new protection installed on the drive which made all the previous mods useless. But if this video is to be believed, hackers have managed to hack Xbox 360 S to run writable discs.

Microsoft doesn’t allow running writable disc content on Xbox 360 because of piracy, though new DRM regulations may allow you to create backup discs but for educational purposes.
