Dual Boot Custom PS3 Firmware (CFW) via Kmeaw Coming soon?

Kmeaw, a known PS3 hacker is planning to provide dual boot feature in coming days. He is the mastermind behind custom PS3 3.55 firmware with all the possible patches for the end users. His PS3 3.55 CFW is also labeled as most stable custom firmware ever. On the other hand Graf has already made an announcement that he is developing dual-boot PS3 tool.

Graf’s petitboot tool is a very complex and only true PS3 expert can understand it. Hopefully, we will get a better and easy to understand process for PS3 dual boot custom firmware from Kmeaw.

Here is what Kmeaw has to say,
I was thinking of a CFW that has bootOS integrated so it gets executed when you power on your PS3 (and switches back to GameOS on user’s request via menu or ssh). It’s not hard to make it.
But recently I read graf’s announcement that he is going to accomplish the same task. So I don’t know, if such CFW from me would get any demand.
Also I got bootos-installer and lv2patcher patches from an anonymous hacker who have added 3.15/3.41 support. I’m going to merge them into my code and release the next version.
